What are my responsibilities? • Define the IT strategy for the region in alignment with the global SMO IT strategy. • Proactively identify business IT demands and work closely with business units /support functions to understand their IT requirements. • Ensure operational stability and business continuity by implementing appropriate IT policies and procedures (if not defined on global level) • Collaborate closely with global IT product lines and hubs to assure stable service delivery and project execution. • Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring that IT services are delivered in a timely and effective manner. • Lead and manage the regional IT team, providing coaching, mentoring, and development opportunities to team members. • Develop and implement IT policies and procedures in line with corporate standards and objectives. • Manage the IT budget, ensuring that resources are allocated appropriately and effectively. • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the IT team and business units. • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption. • Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts where applicable. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to IT. • Develop and implement a people development and talent management program to ensure that the IT team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver IT services to the business. What do I need to qualify for this job? • Bachelor’s or higher education degree in IT / Engineering or similar field. • 5 - 10 years of IT Management experience with an international scope. • Strong leadership experience with people and stakeholder management accountability. • Experienced in translating customer values into technical requirements. • Have clear understanding of successfully aligning the IT agenda to the wider business strategy. • Work closely with Management, effectively communicating with them on a range of commercial, strategic and operational business issues. • Have high level of intercultural sensitivity and the ability to deal confidentially and professionally in numerous countries. • Nice to have deep knowledge about the Mobility business including a deep understanding on the external IT/IoT world and its implications on our business. • Fluent business English language skills is mandatory.
