GENERAL SUMMARY: * The Manager is responsible for partnering with the cross functional team and managing a team of planners and analysts on the development, communication, and execution of the financial strategy through in-season  allocation from DC to store/online, and effective yield/GM management through promo/markdown management. * Success in this position requires the ability to manage a team that is able to translate quantitative and qualitative data into actionable strategies; and the ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships with Merchandise Planning, Merchandising, Logistics, Store Operations, and the Field. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develops the seasonal and divisional inventory allocation strategies that support the product, investment strategies, and commercial plan strategies, to capture location-based opportunity; * Collaborate with cross functional team to develop and communicate a comprehensive strategy that aligns financial and product opportunities across the department(s) inclusive of style/sku targets, in store dates, good/better/best framework, key attribute, and season code (time on offer). * Ensure team executes initial inventory releases; ensuring consistent and profitable in-season replenishment for division * Partners with marketing on key investments aligned to big ideas, campaigns and marketing. * Collaborate with cross-functional team to define inventory ownership strategies of basic styles; manage replenishment to meet basics in-stock targets. * Consolidate, analyze and communicate size and location-based performance, including sales/inventory comparisons, seasonality and marketing impacts. * Coach and train planners to identify key learnings and develop future strategies. * Manage team priorities and initiatives, organize tasks, monitor workflow, and remove roadblocks to support team in meeting deadlines. * Track and communicate availability of inbound receipts. * Develop knowledge of geographic and store-attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field communication. * Participate in Company initiatives as appropriate. * Provide timely, balanced, and actionable direction and feedback to direct reports to foster rapid skill development and performance improvement. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1)  Knowledge, skills & abilities: * Able to build and maintain productive relationships with business partners across multiple cultures * Ability  to deliver convincing presentations, clearly identifying business issues and decisions * Able to work in a fast-paced and changing environment * Possesses a clear understanding of distribution strategies and how to impact them * Demonstrates good listening, written and oral communication skills, reflecting an appropriate sense of urgency * Possesses a thorough working knowledge of Distribution systems and spreadsheets * Able to use a personal computer, including the ability or aptitude to learn technical applications quickly * Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines * Demonstrates logical analysis and problem solving skills 2)  Minimum educational level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required 3)  Minimum experience: Minimum 10+ inventory management experience, 5 years people management experience 4)  Physical Requirements: Must be able to operate excel, Word, PPT
