职位介绍: What you’ll achieve You will be part of a growing team of technical subject matter experts who are passionate about driving technology incubations enhancing the customer experience. In this role you are part of a global interdisciplinary design and technology organization where you will be collaborating with teammates, product engineering, marketing, corporate sustainability and other critical stakeholders. We are looking for a candidate with a passion for technology, an open mind, and a desire to continuously learn new things. The primary focus of this role is to develop data driven strategies and decision making guiding our technology roadmaps. Come help us make a difference driving solutions which enhancing the design of our products, the possibilities are endless. You will: Influence ID/CMF selections during products concept phase at a material and product level. Define approved solutions based on the product design and the technology capability. Develop and own technology roadmap for injection molding, die casting and thixomolding for 3-4 yrs out enabling design objectives. Lead molding technology incubations as required by the molding technology roadmap. Conduct NUDD investigations as required to meet design objectives during concept phase. Create strategic engagements with our external technology suppliers and partners. Able to influence their technology roadmaps to align with DELL's objectives. Define production requirements and specifications for molded plastic and magnesium parts. Essential Requirements Deep expertise in injection molding, die casting and thixomolding process plus tooling related to each process. Expertise in laser texturing, RHCM technology (rapid heat and cool molding), and other related adjacent molding technologies. Ability to work in and be successful in highly matrixed organization structures to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders Lead understanding of latest CMF technologies and the applicability to DELL’s roadmap Ability to drive engineering rigor and best practices within the team Experience with DELL's product development cycle with a proven track record brining new technologies from idea to reality. Successfully able excel in environments with ambiguity. Desirable Requirements A minimum of 12+ yrs of experience with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Experience with typical finishes used for electronics: Paint, Anodizing, etc Experience working in electronics supply chain in an ODM model.
