We are looking for a dynamic results-orientated business professional to join our team! Key performance areas As the Business Controller, you will be responsible to contribute to and execute the overall operational and financial goals for the Sales Clusters by fulfilling these responsibilities you support the execution of key activities and ensure the performance according to expectations. Key activities and responsibilities • Proactively provide period end reports and analysis. • Manage capital and project expenditures/cost control. • Partner with businesses by contributing to the management team. • Build strong relationships and network with key stakeholders. • Continuously monitor performance and provide proactive ad-hoc analysis of current issues. • Provide recommendations & drive decision making. • Develop financial perspective on operational issues. • Support key business decision with fact-based analysis and simulation. • Drives performance management - structured way of identifying improvement potential, agree upon activities and follow-up result. Strategic Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting. • Business planning activities with different time horizons, including contingency planning scenarios. • Contribute to the networks in Business Control by sharing knowledge & good practices and support competence development. Competencies • You possess high integrity and self-motivation, knowledgeable and skilled in finance and profitability management. • You have a well-developed business sense and judgement. • You can work closely with relevant stakeholders across the organization at all levels in order to proactively identify opportunities and threats; based on these, develop and implement fit-for-purpose actionable and anchored actions. • You can balance between supporting and constructively challenging peers to act. • You can handle a high-volume of workload and a flexible work and travel schedule. • You understand what is needed to build and cultivate cross-functional teams. Additional competencies but not limited to: • Excellent presentation skills (oral and written) • Identification, analysis and responding to gaps & opportunities • Analytical problem-solving skills • Self-propelling with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads • Proven leadership qualities aligned with Sandvik’s core values • Designing and measuring KPI's Profile • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration preferred, with 2 to 3 years of Business Controlling experience in a manufacturing environment, • An excellent understanding of financial processes, reporting, and accounting, and a high level of computer proficiency, especially in Excel and PowerPoint. • Highly organized, strongly analytical, and have a keen attention to detail and ability to question the facts. • Working with continuous improvements is a natural part of your character and you feel comfortable searching for information, identifying small and large solutions, and challenging the norm. • As the Business Controller, you are an important part of the organization, and have excellent presentations and communications (verbal and written) skills. • Well-developed ability to deliver results under pressure and balance multiple priorities with ease. • You are flexible, react well to change, and remain calm in the face of challenges. • You are active and future oriented. • Fluency in English (verbal and written) is required for this role.
