职位介绍: THE ROLE Tesla is seeking an Audio Engineer within the Infotainment Team who has had 5+ years of design, test, and release responsibility of Audio products, specifically speakers, microphones and/or amplifiers. This engineer should have a strong understanding of the design and application of these components within an audio system, and the ability to define, specify and set the requirements for these. This engineer will be a technical and process mentor for other engineers in the team and the company. This engineer must thrive in a start-up company environment with great opportunities for growth and spectacular achievement. RESPONSIBILITIES Support the product development of speakers, microphones, amplifiers, and other audio system products from inception to end of life Gain a knowledge of our components and audio systems, relative to a vehicle environment and integration Perform simulations of these acoustic components, systems, and environments Work with cross functional teams to create and/or maintain best in class products Interpret, develop, and manage product data; drawings, requirements and specifications Work with suppliers on design, development, manufacturing processes and validation of audio products Plan, execute, interpret, and document a functional audio product validation Troubleshoot, root cause and provide solutions to component and system level failures REQUIREMENTS MUST BSc and a minimum of 5 years work experience in developing audio products. A Passion for audio, a self-motivation, and a desire to work in fast paced environment Experience in developing loudspeaker transducers from concept to mass production Knowledge of product design & development, including an exposure to CAD Technical and Project Management skills to communicate and drive coworkers and suppliers Experience using Matlab/Python for audio analysis Strong problem-solving & debugging skills under challenging conditions Proven experience working within cross functional teams to reach fact-based decisions Excellent written and oral English communication skills PREFERRED Masters, or PhD. in Engineering Experience within the automotive industry Hands-on experience in measurements of acoustic components and vehicle audio systems Knowledge of validation covering different environmental constraints (temp, humidity, and vibration), and regulatory compliance Solid technical depth in audio products (acoustics and electronics), and in analog & digital circuit analysis Individual Contributor and owner of the audio product design& development Strong theoretical background in acoustics Active driver’s license, must be in a good standing This job application may involve an interview with an interviewer outside of Tesla China.
